AmitraResume ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our website and resume-building services.
1. Information We Collect
- Resume content: Information you enter into the resume creation service, such as your name, contact details, work experience, education, and skills.
- Payment information: We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details. All payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
- Usage data: Basic technical data such as browser type, device information, and pages visited, used to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate the resume document you request.
- To process your payment and confirm your order.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To improve our website and services.
3. Data Storage & Security
Resume drafts created in the builder are stored in your browser's local storage so you can continue editing in the same browser. This data is not available to other users or devices. Clearing your browser storage, using private browsing, or changing browsers can remove or hide your local draft.
Files uploaded to the Analyzer are processed in memory by our Cloudflare Worker for text extraction and analysis. We do not intentionally save uploaded files or the extracted resume text in our application storage after the request completes.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information you provide. Resume content is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Processing Partners & Retention
Resume content sent to AI features may be processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to generate the requested suggestions. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank credentials. After a verified payment, we use Resend to send a confirmation email to the address you entered at checkout.
Payment entitlement records, including a session identifier, payment state, download count, and verified order identifiers, are stored in our payment store with an automatic expiry of 30 days to support downloads, retries, fraud prevention, and support. Confirmation email delivery metadata may be retained by Resend under its policies. You may request deletion of application-held records by contacting us.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Razorpay to process payments. When you make a payment, you are subject to Razorpay's own privacy policy and terms in addition to ours. We do not have access to your full payment credentials.
6. Cookies
Our website may use basic cookies or local storage to remember your preferences (such as a selected template) and improve your browsing experience. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.
7. Your Rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or request that we delete it, by contacting us at amitraresume@gmail.com.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors without appropriate consent.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
